Welcome to the PARRT website – PARRT are the People’s Animal Rescue and Rehoming Team. We work in the North East area around Northumberland to help care for and rehome cats, dogs and other animals.

10 year old brother and sister, Tiger and Lily would love a new home together
They are both neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped
They are both in good BTC trade health and will be able to move back to the UK from Bulgaria once a home is available- unfortunately they have to be re-homed due to their owners new accommodation
Could you offer them a loving home to settle in? 
Princess is a beautiful brown tabby and white girl 
She has been neutered and is 3 years old

1 Black and white boy Chip is already vocal and such a little cute character
He loves a belly rub and loves humans!
All ready to leave mum at 10 weeks old- beginning of September
Will be fully vaccinated and neutered once old enough and fully up to date with flea and worming treatments

Semi-long hair brown tabby, 1 year old, is micro-chipped and neutered

Could you take care of one of our cats looking for a home?
All we ask for is your time.
Cats in foster care must be kept indoors until a new home is found.
Giving them up when a new home is found can be difficult but without foster carers more animals have to be turned away from rescues everyday.- Every time your foster cat finds a new home it is another opportunity for you to help another needy cat 
Looking for foster homes especially in South East Northumberland and North Tyneside areas to help keep our transport costs down.
Foster homes with resdient cats are welcome but they must be fully vaccinated to protect them
Female Tortie- lovey little cat but would prefer to be the only cat in the house. Affectionate, likes to go outside and snooze indoors too. But happy to be a house cat.
Around 3- 4 years old, vaccinated and neutered, up to date with worm and flea treatments

Through kind donations from Staff and customers, they had donated over 60 lbs of cat, dog and rabbit food!!!
Fluffy is a semi-long hair grey and white Girl
She is around 2 years old and neutered, will be vaccinated
Up to date with worming and flea treatments
She is very outgoing, friendly, talkative and loves to be groomed
She is very friendly but only has one working eye! She doesn’t let this stop her though!
Found as a stray, poor Lightening has been taken in but needs a quiet home to settle and let her true nature shine through
Very affectionate and fine with other cats- as long as they are not too boisterous! Lightening is around 6-8 years old
She loves attention and purrs like a tractor!
Neutered and will be vaccinated
Not the most photogenic girl in the world but is really a sweet girl when you meet her!
